Education
Each year we hold a BAUN Conference, with the most influential speakers attending from around the country. Aswell as listening to speakers, you can also take part by submitting a poster presentation.
Bruce Turner was a well known and loved BAUN member, a nurse consultant at the Homerton Hospital, London, and BAUN Education lead for many years. Our friend and colleague passed away in 2016. He was determined to continue his mission to educate and impassion urological nurses and left instructions that a legacy should continue in his name.
His legacy was used to establish The Bruce Turner Award: an annual prize which will provide a fully funded place (transport within the UK, accommodation and conference fees) to the BAUN annual conference for those early in their urology nursing career. You may be the lucky winner of this prestigious award!
Attendance to the annual conference is available to members at a reduced annual conference delegate fee and gives you access to national and international speakers and opportunities to liaise with colleagues in the business and social setting.
BAUN holds FREE STUDY DAYS for its members which can help towards your professional revalidation.
