BAUN Bursary
The BAUN Executive will decide on the number of bursaries they can provide each year to attend BAUN Annual Conference. Details of this years bursary places will become available with conference so please sign up to our mailing list to be the first to hear.
If you are considering applying for a bursary place, please note the requirements and terms below.
Membership Requirements
You must be a BAUN Member during the dates of conference.
Existing BAUN Members: If you are already a BAUN member, you are responsible for checking your membership expiry date. If you need to check the status of your BAUN Membership please contact BAUN@fitwise.co.uk
Non-Members: You can apply for a funded place as a non-member but you must be an active BAUN Member on 4th and 5th November 2024. You can join BAUN through the link below.
Funding Breakdown
Funding supplied by BAUN covers a full place at conference for 2 x full days of conference including catering, for 1 named individual. This is non transferrable.
Accommodation
If required, you will be provided with details to book approved accommodation. This is for a standard double room for one occupant for one night only on (around the dates of that particular years conference)
It is your responsibility to book your own accommodation using the details provided. If you choose to book an additional night it is your responsibility to pay for any extra nights or charges, direct to the hotel.
Travel
You must book your own travel but this will be reimbursed up to the value of £100 (including VAT).
Copies of your receipts must be received by Fitwise Management Ltd by the deadline date specified on the conference webpages.
Funding does not apply to the Sunday workshops or include an Annual Awards Dinner ticket.
Confirmation of Attendance
You must have approved study leave from your manager prior to submitting your registration.
Attendance at BAUN 2024 Annual Awards Dinner
You must register and attend the BAUN Annual Awards Dinner if you apply for a bursary place. Tickets can be purchased on the event website each year.
Non-Attendance at Conference
If you are selected for a funded place and if you do not attend conference an invoice will be sent to you for the full cost of the conference place applied for plus any associated costs attached to your attendance i.e. cost of hotel accommodation.
