At BAUN we aim to keep you up to date with the latest innovations in practice by updating you through our various activities at BAUN conference, webinars, our newsletter and not forgetting our own journal IJUN. We encourage you, our members to contribute to innovative practice and update us by speaking at conference, submitting your posters and submitting articles to the journal also. Please share your practice and network with others as we can all learn so much from each other. . We would also encourage you to use professional networks to update yourself such as our BAUN closed Facebook group, and keep an eye on our LinkedIn and BlueSky social media pages.
In order to be eligible as a Full member, individuals need to be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and be working in, or have an interest in, Urological nursing.
All Full members will be company law members and have all the rights afforded to them under the Companies Acts.
Associate Membership is open to nurses not registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and allied health professionals (AHPs) working in or having an interest in urology.
Associate Members shall not be members as defined in this Article above and therefore shall not be company law members and shall not have the rights of members, including not having the right to vote at general meetings.
Corporate Member £1,500 (+VAT)
Corporate Membership is open to:
• an accredited academic institution providing urological nursing training;
• a registered voluntary aid association or a charity which provides aspects of urological nursing training;
• a state healthcare provider;
• an independent commercial organisation concerned with or having an interest in urology.
Corporate Members shall not be members as defined in this Article above and therefore shall not be company law members and shall not have the rights of members, including not having the right to vote at general meetings.
Retired Member (complimentary)
Retired Membership is open to nurses who have previously been Full or Associate Members of BAUN who have now retired from nursing and still have an interest in urology.
Retired Members shall not be members as defined in the Article above and therefore shall not be company law members and shall not have the rights of members, including not having the right to vote.
